New Years Eve Family Events NYC

Start the celebrations off around 11 p.m. with entertainment and hot refreshments at Grand Army Plaza.  What a beautiful way to bring in the New Year!  Best locations for viewing the fireworks include: anywhere in Grand Army Plaza, inside the Park on the West Drive, and along Prospect Park West between grand Army Plaza and 9th Street.

You will be counting down the hour, on the hour (12pm, 1pm, 2pm), followed by a glow in the dark dance party in Funky Forest! They will also be making noisemakers all day for the big event. Complimentary bubbly for both kids & grown-ups (yes adults, it’s the real thing for you). Happy New Year!

Ring in the new year with Eloise!  This will likely be an unforgettable celebration that begins with dinner in The Palm Court, including a Chef’s candyland display for kids featuring enormous lollipops, gumdrops, a chocolate fountain, sundae bar etc.  Next, kids will have fun in the Eloise at the Plaza shop, with games, arts & crafts, and Eloise-themed activities for all ages, followed by a screening of Eloise cartoons and Home Alone 2.  End the night back at The Palm Court for yet even more dessert and another hot fudge sundae bar! Deee-licious!

Why celebrate here on earth when you can celebrate Alien style, at Mars, a galaxy-themed 35,000-square-foot eatery.
